Day one: transfer to Lake Mburo national park
After breakfast drive on Kampala-Mbarara high way for about 4-5 hours for a distance of about 253km. you can use nshara or sanga gate, arrival and go for horse riding or visit communities then dinner and over night at the lodge.
Day two: game drive and boat ride
Early morning have breakfast then go for a game drive and spot the duikers, impalas, topi, zebras, some primates among others then in the afternoon go for a boat trip on lake Mburo where you may spot the water birds, crocodiles and hippos. Dinner and over night at the lodge
Day three: transfer to Bwindi forest
Breakfast and drive out of the park where you will catch up with the early risers like the stripped hyenas, eland, oribi, among others as you head to Bwindi forest.
Day four: gorilla tracking
After breakfast the driver will pick you from your lodge to the park headquarters for briefing. Later you will go for trekking and you will spend one hour with the gorillas. On your way through the forest you may spot bird species like the blue Turaco, yellow eyed black fly catcher, Shelley’s crimsonwing then return to the lodge for dinner and over night at the lodge
Day five: transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast the driver will pick you from your lodge after checking out and will drive you back to Kampala. Stop at Igongo cultural centre for lunch and visiting the museum. Stop at the equator line continue with the journey.
